Why Hope?

Empathic.writings

The house once a home,

now just a locked room.

The great magic of healing,

now just a dire of feelings.

Maybe the absence brought silence

but the presence was peaceful.

Going from observance to surveillance,

now it's just habitual.

Nothing desirable yet everything

so fast, busy and never ending.

The society no more fancy

but becoming more frenzy.

Was it just the past?

Was it just a dream?

Was there more?

Did we ignore?

Should we continue?

Should we compete?

Answers becoming just more questions

This constant loop of life..

Why live it? Why run?

Why not stay, break, end?

Keep hope you say...

but maybe hope is death.

Tainted or not, hope you say...

Why not something stronger?

Jump in and never come back?

Jump in and yet live?

Jump in and yet die?
