Caterpillar In The Green Leaves

Osei Zion

Men cuddle guitar and roll smooth strings in their fingers

      Vibrating strings release flying bubbles

Hot chili burns around the fish on the wire gauze

      Noses sneeze out the pungency

Hairless caterpillar sits in the green flowers

      It enjoys the fresh leaves,

      Bore holes in them,

And prunes away the shoots directly underneath the blinking bulb
