Life is Flowing

peppino

The mind is a turning, it never takes rest

Is testing, is probing, with knowledge as quest

The mind is a searching through land and through sky

Is asking, is digging, it wants to know why

It’s building sand castles, it’s chasing illusions

Is seeking the meaning of life

In dreams finds its haven, because in its journey

It finds only struggle and strife

The heart is a ticking, all night and all day

It’s marking our journey, it’s charting our way

The heart is a beating the rhythm of being

It gives us the notes, the lyrics to sing

It’s calling, it’s pleading, it’s crying, it’s bleeding

It clashes with reason and mind

It’s waiting, it’s hoping, it never surrenders

For love it is pining, but love cannot find

The soul is a glowing, its light is a friend

It gives us the wisdom, let’s us understand

It shines on the darkness, uncovers the veil

Exposes our secrets, it heals when we fail

It searches for meaning though often in vain

It yearns for the touch of a healing caress

It’s glowing together, it withers alone

It’s craving connections, but finds loneliness

Life is a flowing through mountain and vale

It chases the wind, the oceans will sail

It does not falter if hard is the trek

It still keeps on going, it never looks back

It tramples our feelings, it crushes our dreams

It knows not what’s just and what’s fair

Life is a flowing, for time doesn’t care

It’s going, it’s going, but leading nowhere

like the way you weaved it all together
    and some wonderful imagery
but I'm not sure about that last line
I think most people live a meaningful life
    full of direction, its just
    for some of us
it takes a while, to get in-to gear...
    lol
    thanks for sharing
