Leave what is left

ShannyB

Notice of absence from ShannyB
This is my first time posting, please comment

watching you walk out that door,

my heart leaves at the sight of your foot steps

my world begins to crumble,

the shattered walls become a glass cage

my eyes shattered with the pain

your words begin to fade and mean nothing

remembering the pain is like remembering what it looked like in the beginning

the door shuts behind you

yet I don't follow.

my arm are heavy

feels like im planted in the ground

cant chase what I never even had

cant follow what I don't know

leave what is left

run away like wolves are at your feet

hide as if I were a killer

don't look back as if it were a new day
