The day you went away
Was the day I should have made you stay
The day you fell
Was the day I should have searched
Searched till the ends of the earth
Searched till grey days were blue
Till blue skies were old and grey
Till rainbows blocked my way
What I should have done
On days that may
On days that have come
The days have gone
Gone beyond time
Beyond should have done
My mistakes your fault
Feelings beyond the call of
Duty
Feelings beyond something felt
The could have
Went to should have
Yet never done
My mistakes were made
But your fault lead to this
