Violet Skies over burning flames
Reflected over the ocean’s face
Feeling the shells under the damp sand
made me realise I was in dreamland
Ocean Waves growing taller
Heart’s racing feeling smaller
Sojourn Sun rays
A hue of Red
Falling on my face
feeling overwhelmed
The moment next
I’m underwater
A Light from underneath
Luring me to the ocean’s bed

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is basically a recollection of an incomplete dream. I am still intrigued by the abrupt ending of the dream and am left with the question of what the ending could’ve been.
