Mummified Heart

Celestial Siren Poetry

8/23/22

Your attachment to abandonment has mummified your heart with a cloth preventing your blood from dripping to the floor. Your exoskeleton is secure. While my heart is being torn apart quickly by raging thunderstorms. Lifelessly floating above my, emotional ocean of fears. Gracefully twirling and swimming around in my, personal pond of tears. It feels as if you've forsaken my presence. Simply Incapable of processing my essence. Misunderstanding the endless lessons I've carefully curated intended to send you a message...Are you listening? Can't you hear the sound of my soul releasing out a celestial moan! Haunted by the vivid memories triggering his nerves. Like PTSD. Reminding you immediately of what it feels like for someone you love to leave. Like echoing voices to the front of his mind, locking his mental body without a key. My only desire is for you to believe in your own ability to set yourself free. To be released from the chains of a paradox, plagued with parasitic dreams.
