I Hate Love

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

I hate love that lies

Just to impress

Like an beautiful apple

That is bad inside

Urging me to take a bite

Only worms of a fruit

I hate love that hooks

Like a bait

Luring me on

To my wreckage

Suffocating me

To die in such a pain

I hate love that hurts

Love that promises only happiness

Like it has no slight moment of sadness

Like it has no dark side

Trying to hide every dark side

Forgetting reality haunts deep in
