All Flatters

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

They all flatter

Heart cannot be excluded

Though it is not on its own

Anyway it does

Eyes flatter too

They can exaggerate

In their vision a confusion

Denying to settle with reality

Tongue flatters sometimes

It can produce sweet sounds

Compelling ears of adorers

To hear more even lies

Ears flatter also

They can hear sweet music

Adorers can be captivated

Becoming slaves on the spot

Even the heart can flatter

Influenced by the eyes and ears

Brighter looks and sweet voice

Forces it to feign unusual beat
