End of an era

a thousand wishes

The sun has been setting faster

The world has been wondering if we'll last the year

Endless repetition till we submit to the fear

What we thought was right

We found was in error

It’s the end of an era tonight

We found what was lost

But it just breeds terror

It’s the end of an era

Birds fly, chirping and spinning round circles

We lose our hope just to gain it back again

Spinning round in circles

Wishing to find our purpose

But what we thought was right

We know it was in error

It’s the end of an era tonight

Turns out what was lost

Couldn't be rarer

Now I'm begging you, spare her

It’s the end of an era

It’s the end of the days

When we'd run away

From the troubles at hand

Even just for a day

When we could say we were frozen

No emotions

What we know is wrong

Is wrong forever

Cause it’s the end of an era

Tonight.
