Cause I watch you obey
Every wish of theirs
You do it day by day
Thinking you don't care
And you just let them pull your strings
Completely ignoring the agony it brings
So you think you're used to this way of living
Never taking, you've grown accustomed to giving
As you clean, sew, knit, and cook
You hate this life, you're an open book
Cause what made you human is what they took
They stole your will with none to look
You insist to yourself that you're fine
But your guess is just as good as mine
If you're fine, why do you cry during nights?
While the candles fully melt, diminishing lights
You're reminded of your dreams, your 'silly' insights
As you choke on air and your throat gets tight
I know you're scared,
And I know you're afraid
But you're a gem that's rare
And this is why you were made
So in the middle of your head
Between all the thoughts swarming
Let's face it, now all's said:
You'll never need a Prince Charming.

She might not need a prince charming, but there's bound to be one hanging around out there somewhere.
Got a feeling, Cinders runs her own company and doesn't have time for men.
Hopefully there will be one. She doesn't need him, but she wants him. And she deserves it
Hopefully there will be one. She doesn't need him, but she wants him. And she deserves it
