I Make My Day

I will let my voice
come out through a song
that speaks of kindness
that we all create out of a singular choice.

Many people go through life
in various forms of hardship
which seem to not have an ‘end’
making them question if they could actually survive.

What makes it easier?
The acts of Love, Kindness, and Forgiveness
not just towards our own self,
but also towards each other.

I have mine as well
including personal ones
which may seem trivial to others
but the weight is too much to tell.

I always find a way
to overcome one
and then another;
I make...my day.
