Touch the non-existence

Touch the non-existence

08/28/2022

When the sound of breathe becoming deafening

When twilight of dawn and dusk becomes blinding

When the fragrance of nature becomes unbearable

Where shall I find reprieve, where shall I find solace

The knowledge that binds me, I must redefine

The desires that enslaves me, I must relinquish

The world of emotions, I must conquer

That what guides me, I must revisit

From deep, deep within me, I must extract

That, which hears the sound of silence

That, which even darkness cannot hide

That, which liberates me from sense perception

Then, by such immersion

Hear the sound of silence

See the light of darkness

Touch the non-existence

truly

Touch the non-existence

!

?

!

The journey is arduous

The mind is feeble

The struggle is unrelenting

Escape, from to, is questionable

  • Fay Slimm.

The journey you so eloquently describe is inevitable and all must surrender - --- so good to read your poetry again Suresh.

Your visit alone speaks to me, and I thank you.

Will the Number 7 bus take me on this journey?! lol. I talk some rubbish sometimes. heehee.

      • SureshG

Your so called rubbish hides a deeper pain that you notice in your brethren. Your words so romantically sing the message of your belief.
        Thank you for noticing mine.

every now and zen .. although on increasingly rare occasions, certain words and phrases transcend the norm .. and find their final resting place where they truly belong .. wrapped for safe keeping within a poem somewhere on a higher plane .............. these words have that certain quality about them ..
