Sleep well tonight

Did I say goodbye instead of goodnight? 

Did I step in the dark instead of the light? 

Did I do what's wrong instead of what's right? 

Either way, anyway. I just hope you sleep well tonight 

 

 

If we are fighting when I wake up 

If we never make up 

I just hope you sleep well tonight 

 

When you rest your head 

And the tears; they soak your bed 

Well I just hope you sleep well tonight 

 

Did you say goodbye instead of goodnight? 

Did you give up instead of putting up a fight? 

Did you set us both up for another lonely night? 

 

Either way, any way, I just you hope sleep well tonight
