Commitment to myself

Sail

I didn’t know when it started or when it’ll end

But the sun is rising

And the cloud is lifting

We’re at the end of the tunnel

We’ve been pushed through the funnel

I can feel it in my bones

It’s always at the end that everything is in slow motion

The next step could very well be my damnation - my salvation

Anxiety embraces me

But my feet aren’t stopping

Desperation envelopes me

But I am in slow motion

In sickness and in health

For better or for worse

This journey I will take alone

Seems like a commitment to myself
