Words of Heart

Dr. Soma

When I see the rainbow, I feel it’s you.

When I see the blue sky, I feel it’s you.

When I see the waves of the sea, I feel it’s you.

When a gentle breeze touches me, I feel it’s you.

When I smell the fragrance of a rose, I feel it’s you.

When a little drop of water falls into a leaf, I feel it’s you.

When a grasshopper flies over the green grass, I feel it’s you.

When the boat sails for a new destination, I feel it’s you.

When I take a deep breath, I feel it’s you.

Every second heartbeat recalls me of your existence

You are in me, you are with me,

In all beauties of the world, I feel your presence.

You were, you are, and you will remain with me forever.

My heart tells me, no need to look anywhere.

Search in your soul, I exist always in there.

Well, I have to agree about the beauty within this poem. Although, it would be better if "I feel it's you" were not repeated as often. "When a little drop of water falls into a leaf" caught my attention. It's a very lovely phrasing of Nature's world as you saw it. Enjoyed this poem. -Phil A,

It's interesting how we fall into patterns and architecture when composing poetry unlike in any other form of writing. The repetition is like a chant, almost religious. What you do by the long catalog of experiences and natural wonders is intensify how much is contained by one thought of love. It's like an equation, where one little person is as big as all the rest of creation added together. I look forward to your other pieces. Very sincere, tender, and yes a little sexy!
