Mysteries of the night !

So mysterious is the night, 
With darkness long this time of year,
Eyes move from apparent light,
Filling some mortal minds with fear.

In darkness some mind might wander,
To other realms or other times,
Having so much time to squander,
A myriad of darker lines.

Light spectrums using many tricks,
Confuses minds so easily,
Imprisoned when the mind conflicts,
On any probability.

Both light and dark will punish well, 
Distorting out of proportion,
From simple facts to someones hell,
Any imagined contortion.

Don't close your eyes for something worse,
You'll lose track of reality, 
Your fragile mind you may immerse,
And sink into depravity.

So best you are not that mortal,
Keep safe by staying in the light,
Dont enter that dark night portal,
Ignore that mystery of night !
