Who and what is a Critic?

Do you pay attention to Critic reviews
Or try things out for yourself?
Guess it depends on what's being sold
Is it a product or company?
How do we weigh up decisions, let's see
Usually depends on the money being spent
A critic is always paid for their views
But are those views skewed?
Is it really their view or the media outlet they work for?
Are critics paid to say something is good when it's really bad?
Or the other way around?
I bet my bottom dollar on that
I'm English, mean my last pound
We all opinionated
Sometimes the best stuff hated
The way the media work is mostly coordinated
