Dancing with a stranger

shaa

Command my attention with your gait,
That Smile warm as the sun,
And laugh so infectious.

Your eyes capture my soul,
your voice lures me to the unthinkable.

It can't be, I barely know you.

It mustn't be, we're just strangers.

And yet, and yet your eyes speak to me,
They invite me to a dangerous game,
challenge my character and question my stands.

I ponder long in thought but your laugh distracts me,
I find myself laughing at what I Know not,
perhaps at myself for I'm dancing with a stranger.

Oh Oh, sounds like primal attraction. You've expressed this attraction in a beautiful way. Your closing line is introspective, and this, for the reader, raises the plane of thought, and adds to the power of your poem. A couple of lines that I enjoyed: "your eyes speak to me" and "They invite me to a dangerous game." I thought them inventive and power points in your poem. I Enjoyed the read.- Phil A.

Thank you. I'm very happy you like it and I love your point outs. Although what do you think might be wrong with it, like its nice getting good recognition but also need some corrections. So tell me
