Mid autumn festival

poetri

Amber full moon lights up the autumn sky,

Below, lanterns scintillate like tiny moons.

Moon cake festival blossoms joyously,

Children parade on the neighborhood

While sing-songing in harmonious unison .

The  succulent taste of moon cakes evaporates onto the nocturnal air,

Ceaselessly livens up the Vietnamese community.

On the black celestial ocean,

The cyan stars glisten to celebrate this night with the earthly dwellers.
