Dreams of clay

sorenbarrett

A carbon birth of miniscule size

Poverty's dearth, a window pressurize

Sarasvati growing, Prometheus too

Embers glowing, a box too tight for you

Ejected from the nest under a new moon

A crown of thorns, no rest in a hewn cocoon

Oroboros crawl, your St Christopher you wear

With Elli's shawl you've come full circle in despair

In the tides of sand Lilth's time drifts away

Tears rust a golden band, shattered incubus of clay
