I met you a year ago today. If you would’ve told me then that our souls would intertwine
so effortlessly
I would’ve laughed at you.
I wouldn’t have believed such a thing was possible.
But as I reminisce about the time we spent together, I realize that all of our late-night adventures, gut wrenching laughs, and endless conversations were for a reason.
We experienced true intimacy.
We were able to be so raw and vulnerable with each other,
We pushed each other far from our comfort zones,
We dove so deeply into each other’s minds,
And even though you are no longer around,
I can’t help but show the universe my utmost gratitude
That I met you a year ago today.
