Forever Heartache
The most life changing, as well as lifelong, pain you can ever inflict upon yourself is to shatter your own heart by walking away from someone you do, and always will love.
Love can do things to the body, mind and spirit.
It can cause such a pain in your mind that never having experienced it before you can’t even imagine a name for it.
After decades together, and then one day you find that several times a day you find yourself forgetting how to breathe.
You lay down in bed at night and you can hear your heartbeat so loudly in your ears that you’d bet that if anyone else were present they could hear it too.
At your age you probably have a few more decades left at least
To not just endure the pain but hopefully survive through it.
Find the best lesson you can from it and keep it
close to your heart always
Then you can finally live with it, and even become a better person because of it.
