Fifty thousand degrees
That is lightings temperature
Fifty thousand degrees strike the ground
leave nothing and take everything
Worlds shatter
mighty evergreen set aflame
Turned into nothing
Dust, ash, smoke
but it meets water?
When it meets water, it has met its match
It is conducted beautifully
dances gracefully across Swan Lake
Once elegant water now dangerous
Soft streams to thrashing waves
Water alone is peace
lighting alone is destruction
When they meet though
It is a delightful match
Whether it was made in heaven or hell
untelling
anything alive touching it is surely harmed
thrilling
My heart pounds
I step into Swan Lake

The poem seems to carry a big message. I read your profile and I heard you're just starting. Me too! I'm just a beginner and I haven't learned much about poetry but I just go with the flow. A friendly tip: you can increase your grammar knowledge and always double-check before publishing because it gives you even more ideas to either omit or add some things. Otherwise, your ideas are great and I wish you good luck with your poetry journey! Please do check out my poem too. Thanks. 🙂
Thank you so much for the ideas! I'll check it out rn
