Everlasting balance

sorenbarrett

My eyesight grows dim

Yet I see better than ever before

Everything broken now fits

In universal harmony

My body is weak

But is carried by my soul

To the beginning of time

And the end of eternity

Though this form will end

I will see you again

In the sun and the wind

And until then my friend

My place will be taken by my love

Thank you so much Dusk for your kind remarks. I wanted to add more but decided that less is more.

youre right, less is more. Let your reader fill in 'spaces' or 'places' with their own thoughts.... it's what we poets seem to have plenty of so why not LOL

You have captured so beautifully the journey of the body and the soul. This is a poem to contemplate, over and over. A superb write and a fav.
