Tune: Gopsal

('Rejoice, the Lord is King')

Psalm 103 v.17-22

********

The mercy of the Lord

Is for e'er, true His word

Even from e'erlasting

To they that fear Him, sing

They unto Him, His righteousness

To generations, He does bless

To such as Him obey

Keep His covenant way

And remember to do

His commands, strength anew

He gives to us to enable

Us to be pleasing to Him all

The Lord He has His throne

He rules, and He alone

His kingdom rules o'er all

Shall not collapse or fall

Bless the Lord, you His angles who

Excel in strength, serve Him anew

For you His commands do

And you hear His words true

Bless the Lord, all His hosts

And peoples to far coasts

Bless the Lord, all works, all places

Dominion His o'er all races

I had been telling ya the wrong tune name for this hymn I think.
That's why I was singing it out of tune - no change there then to me! lol.

A fine lovely faithful hymn and im glad to hear that you care about divine commands and obedience to Him as some Christians like to ignore that part. Kudos!!

Plz also read and comment my newest poem too.

With much regret, the Queen is dead ..

Thanks N. I get 'strange feelings' sometimes, not psychic, but foreboding. I sort of 'sensed' this would happen after the first news of her health concerns. A double rainbow at the actual time of her passing was a sign, portent, etc I think, but I don't know what it's a sign of exactly. I'm not into spookiness of psychic things. I wrote this a while ago, not on the actual day (yesterday).
