Within cobweb confines !

Justa_Geezer

Milady, are you trapped within your cobweb cell,
Held by force, and unable to take flight,
Confined there by your jealous husband,
Perhaps some dastardly Black Knight ?

Is your Innocence or virtue under threat
Within those confines of forced indignity
Perhaps you're held ransomed by some debt
Milady, please get a message sent to me !

Inform me what your plight might be,
I'll attend with both men and horse
Very soon, intent on setting you free,
Your liberty obtained with relative force,

Then Milady, once your freedom's been won,
Captor's, no longer breathing God's clean air,
Normality restored, and all things done,
I vow wherever you want to be, you'll be taken there.

Milady I can't do anything, so let me know post haste
Your request to come and set you free
Please let me know, your captors will be chased
Excalibur and I, pledge your freedom soon will be !

  • Fay Slimm.

The valour of medieval chase to capture a villain and catch a fine Lady is told so well in this exciting fable - thank you for sharing Excalibur's might.
