IF PEACE WERE

If peace were an animal,

What would it be?

For sure, not the weasel.

Perhaps I ,The butterfly,

Stay still and I will seek thee

 

If peace were a season,

What would it be?

“Summer” shouted the Pigeon,

“Like Dubai”

Others disagreed ,Especially the snow geese .

 

If Peace were a place

Where would it be?

show me the pathways,

and there, I will fly,

Even swim the open sea.

 

If peace were anything

It would be a seed,

One that only germinates

When there is fulfillment,

From within.
