Silence

shaa

I told my truth and I'm not ashamed.

Instead im slowly dying,

dying from your silence.

My mind is on a field day.

Was I wrong?

wrong to lay my cards on the table.

I try to think like you,

what must you be thinking,

was I foolish to tell you...

I'll never know till this silence breaks,

it needs to break,

for silence is for the departed souls

who cannot speak and are dumb for eternity,

cannot express or tell their tales.

But for us the living,

who are hopeful,

hopeful of life's prospects

need to  break this silence.
