Sunset Void

kimmerapixie

Our love was drenching overflown
With violet stars and white skies
And to my surprise
We both saw this sharp illusion
This tangible facade
This happy glowing dance
Then again
Nobody predicts a void beneath
The sunset
We touched faces
And for the first
Time
There being blood
We couldn’t even be friends
Or notice the stars
No
Even the stars now
Had scars
Somehow, the love is there
Yet neither one of us are the same
Somehow the stars are still hanging
But they are not hanging right
And nobody can imagine
How a sunset can hide a void
I just pretend that you are there
Even though your not
I just pretend that you are there….
And nobody thinks that the stars
Can be hung by a thread of lies
They still align something
Your name is there
Your eyes are not
And I pray under
The void of the sun
That you come back
Alive
Like I once had seen you
….like I had once felt you
I just pretend
And I pray that there be
No more voids
No more
Voids
Below me, stand the trees
Shall there grow truth
And feeling
Shall there be growth
Instead of sinking
Instead of being hung
Here pretending…
Shall there be no more voids
Hiding beneath the sunset
And maybe the both of us
Can come back and the stars
Will be
Even brighter
And the Sun will be
An honest warmth
To our skin
For you to just
Not be a lie
Just please
Be Real
Again
Not a
Void in
The sunset
And not a void
At all
