Sinful Daughter

Jerry Reynolds

My daughter was born a sinner.
Her sin cited in the Bible
twenty-five times.
Her sin demands special tools,
to practice her trade
but in her sinful hands
she can do magical things.
Luckily for her, over time,
society has learned to accept
left-handed people.

I see - Jews seeing the right hand as 'good' and the left hand as 'bad'. Oh, that daft superstition of left-handedness! Arrgh, I just fell over a black cat. Not that I'm superstitious. The cat was out one night and I didn't see it. (not a true story. lol).

Thanks, Orchi. A left-pawed black cat could be trouble.

That may well be the shortest poem with a good 'turn' I've come across for a while - nice one Jerry.

        Thanks, Neville.
