My Heartbeat - 3

My heart beats
for a moment
in my past
that went by quite fast.

It was triggered and inspired
by that music video
called 'What Have You Done',
Something that was never for fun.

The video itself involves sadness
pain, hurt, and violence;
Dark...but truthful to the core
Something...that I was a part of before.

Well, a part of in the emotional sense
because I was a very emotional person
and I used to magnify my emotions
and channel them for various reasons.

One of them is poetry
because it isn't structure
nor the form
but the emotional purity.

Emotion...that is so deep
and so strong
in the form of words
nouns, grammar, and verbs.

I need to feel
to become that emotion
and blast it into a piece of paper
into words of wonder.

Wonder, Chaos
Murder, Lost
Paradise, Heaven
Truth, Revelation.

How dark...I was able to be
all in the name of 'poetry'
as a 'Poet in my own right
rising...in and out of sight.
