Questions For Nature

Diana Baffoe

I look at the sun so bright  in the sky
Makes me question whether life is real or a lie
Whether it is a dream, a stimulation we are running through,
Or a sequence of events that has been planned for you
Yeah, I look at the grass so green in the soil
Makes me question whether death is real or a lie
Whether it is because we are short of dreams
Or simply because we cannot seem to wrap our heads around the boiling streams
But this time I didn't look at the sun or the soil
This time I looked at you and all the make up you have on
And I asked what are you trynna hide
Your chicks, your face, your eyes
Yet maybe under all this mask
There's a kind, beautiful you, that I would like to see once or twice
In this dreamy life of mine peace.

Beautifully worded. Life holds many perspectives and you have a good grasp on them

    Lovely, nicely penned

So long as you have another concrete reality based consciousness you can draw upon, I think you will be OK... Well expressed though when you ask these hard philosophical questions...
