Why is it that any knock on the door that I think it is you
Why is it that any notification on my phone that I think it is you
Why do I feel like I am left out in the rain
Forgotten
If I don’t say a word you may not even realize I am there
In hopes you become aware
Because all I want to do is share your air
But life is not fair
So I won’t dare
To say the truth
