The Longing.

Kimani

A traveler without a map,
Destination: unknown.
The path is dark,
Destiny calls from afar.

A sailor stranded,
On a stormy sea, that is sometimes calm.
Tales of a shore,
An island of relief.

A relic lost,
Buried Beneath,
Longing for the collector,
A hope for rediscovery.

An Animal Caged,
Home is now cold and metallic,
It cries pitifully,
A song of freedom.
