The Blues and The Hues

Bread Adriano

Her, as waves drift and go back ashore
Her, the birds chirping and the sea singing
Her, all the beauty of these things
Her, it's all about her.

Her, as the skies clear and the leaves dance about
Her, as the trees sway and tears fall out
Her, oh, what a sight to see
Her, it's all about her.

Blue, as waves drift and go back ashore
Blue, the birds chirping, and the sea singing
Blue, all the beauty of these things
Blue, it's all about her.

Beauty, as waves drift and go back ashore
Beauty, the birds chirping, and the sea singing
Beauty, all these things are blue
Her, she's as beautiful as blue.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem is the very first poem that I\\\'ll publish here. This poem is about the author observing a girl on the seaside, and as he observes, he compares the beauty of the things happening around him to the beauty of the girl. It\\\'s all about blue.
