Ocean

EzraDoesArtStuff

Silent

Still as a standing wave

                Looking over the deep sea

And exuding its force and grandeur

I stand here under that wave,

Taking it all in

When the wave crashes upon the sand

The extent of its smash reaches farther

Up and up and up the shore

                To where I stand

Swishing around my feet and

Burying them deep within the grit

The dark sea rolls and toils, churning

Its vast darkness into inevitability

                No matter what, where, when

                Who, why, nor how

Waiting for you to look out into its

Endless silence and constant ebbing

And cry.
