Darkness enclosing around our brave band 

The battle seemed soon to come to an end 

Their fire and death scourged our free homeland 

But above the chaos one did transcend 

 

Blood stained, death scarred, war torn he appeared

Still he stood with hope, ready to inspire

He raised the flag strong, for nothing he feared 

All of our hearts and minds he did require 

 

Our despair did flee as he said those words

“Mighty he that is in me, for faith dwells”

“My prayers and cries, my great God has heard”

“Thus I’m made aware that all will be well”

 

“Join me to write the end of our story”

“Join me as we trek the path to glory”
