BLESSINGS

I will begin each day with a smile and account of my many blessings, instead of a stiff lip and a little voice whispering  get a grip. I will be grateful for all I have rather than bitter for all I do not have. I will pray daily for wisdom, happiness, health, and success as well as strength, courage, and forgiveness. May I be mindful of the character I build within, when hardships camp outside my door, and find comfort in a much stronger more powerful God that will not forsake me when I feel like I can take no more. I will speak with thought as to not let words rob the message before it has a chance to reach whoever in need of receiving what God has put in my heart. So often foul language and shallow people do not allow one to finish what they start. Faith abounds from my soul, paving the way for a bright tomorrow and a restful sleep at days end. By the morning light comes a beautiful sunrise and with God's grace I shall get up and do it all again.
