Who are we?

Its hardly been a month,

feels like a life time of knowing one person.

How do you do that,

make me glued to every word you utter

immersed in thoughts you trigger

captivated by moments you spark.

I pause every thought and turn my mind into a canvas.

I paint your portrait and make it my center piece.

Which begs me to ask,

who are we?

what are we?

why should we?

why should we insist to let things be yet we know we're wrong.

We are strangers

know each other well

one in different bodies

fascinated by each other

not in love but intrigued by each other's way of thinking,

who are we truly?

Marvelous poem about you asking some questions.

At times your comments are discouraging 😢 or is sarcastic... like you start by saying something really nice and just finish by watering the whole thing sure I'm asking questions in the poem but that's not the whole idea

I'm not being discouraging or sarcastic. If I misunderstood your poem, I apologize.
