At all

a thousand wishes

I go back and bask in pain

that's been settled

I would go back and love the pain

just for a little

I know I'd rather feel,

than never hurt at all

but if I stand tall

I'll get knocked down

If I hold my head high

I'll wake up in the clouds

but I'll drown

I don't ever want to hurt

but I'd rather feel it

than to never know love

than to feel frozen

and remained unheld and unbroken

I can't feel numb and put up a million walls

but I guess love is more than a feeling after all
