Mother Nature

Mother

My Mother

The one who held me

Kept me

Protected me with her own skin

Gave me her to survive

I ran to open doors

Fulll with excitement

Everything was new around me

I was happy

Alive

Just as I met the doors they shut, robing me from mothers breast

I wasn't done

She is replaced by an awful thing

They would mock her

They envied her

Nature

What is nature?

Is it what is untreched by man?

If so, are the forests man trech through, the seas swam, the desserts trotted, and skys flown destroyed?

Every footprint left changed the earth
Forever

Forever

Humanity robs nature to survive

We ignore the rotting plant in the corner that begs for the water we drink

We walk on pavement and drive on rodes for convenience

Is convenience happiness?

True happiness is hard to achieve so getting there would be anything but convenient

Why do we ignore the signs?

The forest burning

Animals dying

And our world crying

How can we move on?
