pitter patter poem

jark

click clack
tip tap
toppings

pitter patter
plucky
droppings

sprinkling
twinkling
softly screaming
spilling
space above

rain drops drip
wind blows it
around
and
around
and
up?

tip toeing tadpoles see
heavy stepping mammals
clonking
clacking
drilling
fracking

making all kinds of noise
back when it was just rain
a distant whirring was a joy
