Message from Karma

a thousand wishes

Lets start my story in America

blue,white,red stripes waved around

In the background there are dying sounds

Is this what I'm supposed to pledge allegiance to

Shall I get on one knee

and kiss the ass of every single person

that lacks the mind and empathy to realize

that life isn't a vine

I can't post strife like I post the words

but it's none of my concern.

Shall I pledge allegiance to the sick, sad, and sorry

Shall I bow down to the oppressed oppressors?

every single generation passing the torch

like let's carry on the tradition of hate and ignorance

Let's zoom out, take a look at the earth

crippling depression, meds to bury the hurt

everyone and everything ends

and then we're put in the dirt

To lie forever, to lie till we decompose

but we spend our life worrying about our woes

no one ever thinks that we always decompose

we straighten ourselves up and take all of the blows

Stand up tall, lets your freak flag fly

but not around the people that consider themselves perfect

those are the ones who will take away a purpose

tun around and usurp us

boil us, make us into concrete

like look what I've repurposed, refurbished

Damn it's such a shame all the love all the pain

and we're still 6 feet deep in a grave

that we're gonna get out of

because the trash we throw out burries

the hate we give out comes back and drowns us

then it astounds us

Like its such a surprise that karma came back with boxing gloves to teach us a lesson

not letting us get away without leaving a message.
