A profound wakeup call in the true art of poetry and a wonderful command of the English language. The couplets bring it all together to form an unremitting verse into the final awakning and thus - the light. Excellent!
Thanks Tony. I suppose, if memory serves, this was written in the belly of an absinthian reverie. But for sure it was in a worked up mood, perhaps after seething at the news on the telly for the nth time.
This conjured up feelings long buried. I particularly liked "release the soul's query how can one forgive what is forgotten" A great line that gives pause.
Thanks Soren. That means a lot to hear bout conjuring long buried feelings. And yes, that line about forgiving and forgetting is quite likable, in my thinking. Cheers.

Inspiringly good and alive with empowerment these fine linguistic invites. This goes into my faves.
Thanks Fay. It makes me so glad that there is an empowering and an inviting to be had.
