Tightrope (between heaven and hell)

sorenbarrett

Tight like a spring over wound

Through every fiber

Electric energy flowing to the ground

Each muscle clenched to the point of pain

Uncertainty heavy in the air again

Caught between a mortal bodies torment and a spirit that's angelic

Your behaviors vary from the sublime to the demonic

How can I undo what has been done for fifty years?

How can I erase the pain and the tears?

When one has lost all that they had when they came to the table

It’s time to leave the game while one is still able

When there is not even anymore losses to minimise escaping with the skin still on our backs seems the sensible thing to do. Thanks for sharing.
