Defeated

Lawrence Olivia

To be down
    but on a cloud
Everyone whispers I should be proud.
I’m confused and don’t understand
    how your so close
And never lend a hand.
We game years to each other
    and now your with another.
Mistakes were made
    and now I must pay
An eternal debt is where I am now
      I pay everyday knowing I won’t stay
This world is killing me day after day.
My punishment is to be alone,
It seems fitting from all I know,
Worth more dead than alive
      That is where I thrive.
