Do you hear me when I talk to you?

Or are my words unintelligible advancing from my feminine lips?

Jumbled in a womanly array of incompetence and naïveté

Do you feel taller forcing me to dwell in your 5’8 shadow and to abide by its outline?

When you’re done making me your project, will I receive an “A”?

Will you strut me around like a show pony for all to see?

Or put me on display in a trophy case?

Such a good little wife I’d be
