The Cuckoo's Stay

priyankakoley

Maybe you were walking down a path in the midst of your shadow
Sometime you did and I crossed your path
However minute it was but seemed the whole universe

The wild fearsome bells had rung
With gruesome rhythm the eagles sung

But this anaestic heart
Blooming like a cherry bud
Went ahead in dark feary ends

But the shady breezy afternoon had to paas
The sun had to rise
And the dream had to die
A million untimely deaths
Just a cautious word
Do not flung your heart
This afternoons don't seem so true
Many bees may buzz
But not all seek shelter
Some barely fare a chance
Rest are to the tour unfair
So I, just to break
The weaver bird's nest
With little drops of hope faith were built
But lame is the guest
Had to guard for best

So this not the one in sync
Had to break the chains

Pardon me O cuckoo
For ways are made for you too
Sing your glory in your tune
Place your stay and make your way
Rest your heart in crowning adode
For who shall say?
When your stay is over too......
