Star-Crossed

Amit.Singh

Like the earth’s intimate dance with the sun,
Or the caress of the moon on the sea,
Intricately connected, though never joined as one,
This star-crossed tale, of you and me,
Wish we could toss our fears aside,
Let our feelings flow,
Because what our heads deny,
Our hearts already know,
But divine ties never accept defeat,
If even fate itself, tries to keep us apart,
Lifetime after lifetime, we’ll surely meet,
On the trail left by our bleeding hearts,
One day I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine,
When time stands still and stars align
